DEBUNKED. Trump White House attempts to rewrite January 6 insurrection, fails miserably and pathetically.

To be a good alternate history writer, one needs to be well versed in the historic event they are building their narrative around. Thus, in writing my Trojan SMERSH, I combed through hours upon hours of stock footage recorded on January 6; I read through a wide range of the news reports covering the event; sourced history books and autobiographies that provided primary and secondary accounts of the events of that day as told by those who directly witnessed it; and paid close attention to hearings from the bipartisan January 6 Investigation Committee that was then still ongoing. So to have somebody seriously attempt to whitewash the events of that day falls in the category of claiming that the Earth is flat.

Sadly, that is exactly what is happening. In the days leading up to Donald Trump’s second inauguration, I feared he would try to delete the January 6 report and its supporting documentation from the US Government Information website. Thankfully that has not happened, for now. But one year on since Trump took office and five years to the day that he incited his mob of domestic terrorists to attack the Capitol, the White House has published a webpage attempting to rewrite the January 6 insurrection. This webpage falsely paints the J6 terrorists as “patriots” and “peaceful protesters”; reframes Nancy Pelosi and Mike Pence as the villains and Trump the hero; pushes the long debunked narrative that the 2020 election was stolen; and attempts to cast aspersions on the January 6 Committee investigation and various other criminal investigations against Trump.

As somebody who has spent considerable time researching the January 6 attack, I feel I am qualified to take the White House’s latest propaganda piece apart. I will start by introducing the subject with the webpage’s exact wording, the proceed with a thorough debunking. Reference and evidence to the contrary will be provided. This will take a long time so strap yourself in, will be wild!

President Trump took decisive action to pardon January 6 defendants who were unfairly targeted, overcharged, and used as political examples. They were not protected by the leaders who failed them. They were punished to cover incompetence.

On his first day back in office, January 20, 2025, President Trump issued sweeping blanket pardons and commutations for nearly 1,600 patriotic Americans prosecuted for their presence at the Capitol—many mere trespassers or peaceful protesters treated as insurrectionists by a weaponized Biden DOJ.

There is an old saying that is appropriate here: if you don’t want to do the time, don’t do the crime. There is nothing “mere” about tresspassing on government property, especially when your intention is to “hang” the Vice President and you assaulted police officers who were doing their jobs in trying to keep such tresspassers out. The webpage makes no mention of the facts that the terrorists smashed their way through the windows to get into the Capitol or assaulted police.

These were not peaceful protestors, many of them were armed with guns and knifes. Such armed rioters were arrested on gun related charges. These include but are not limited to:

  • John Banuelos, who was livestreamed firing two shots from a revolver whilst scaling the inaugural scaffold erected on the West side of the Capitol.
    • Charged with: “entering and remaining in a restricted building or grounds with a deadly or dangerous weapon; willfully and knowingly carry on or have readily accessible to any individual on the grounds or in any Capitol buildings, a firearm; and discharging a firearm or explosives, use a dangerous weapon, or ignite an incendiary device on the grounds or in any of the Capitol buildings. Banuelos is also charged with a misdemeanor offense of disorderly conduct on Capitol grounds.
  • Christopher Alberts, who brought a pocketknife, a 9mm handgun, and a spare magazine of ammunition that contained hollow-point bullets, and violently clashed with police officers.
    • Sentenced to: “84 months in prison after he was convicted of nine charges, including six felonies, following a jury trial in the District of Columbia before the Honorable Christopher R. Cooper. In addition to the prison term, Judge Cooper ordered 36 months of supervised release and restitution of $2,000.”
  • Joe Biggs, organiser of the Proud Boys, far right extremist group of white suppremacists. Was the second to enter through the smashed window. According to fellow rioter Ryan Samuel who testified before the FBI: “Mr. Biggs encouraged him to push at the barricades and that when he hesitated, the Proud Boys leader flashed a gun, questioned his manhood and repeated his demand to move upfront and challenge the police.
    • Semtenced to 17 years in jail and 36 months of supervised release for: “seditious conspiracy and other charges related to the breach of the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021.”
  • Brad Reffitt, member of the Three Percenters militia group, who carried a handgun on Capitol ground and later stated: “I had every constititional right to carry a weapon and take over the Congress, as we tried to do.
    • Sentenced to 87 months in jail. “He was specifically targeting Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell. He told members of his militia group and those gathered around him at the Ellipse that he planned to physically drag Speaker Pelosi out of the Capitol Building by her ankles.
  • Lonnie Coffman, who drove a literal truckload of weapons and explosives to within less than half a mile of the Capitol on January 6. Police confiscated several loaded pistols, assault rifles, hundreds of rounds of ammunition, large-capacity ammunition feeding devices, a crossbow with bolts, machetes, camouflage smoke devices, a stun gun, and a cooler containing eleven jars filled with ignitable ingredients for Molotov cocktails.
    • Sentenced to 46 months in jail, “after pleading guilty to federal and local firearms offenses stemming from the discovery of weapons in his pickup truck parked near the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021.”
  • Stuart Rhodes, founder of the Oath Keepers. While he did not enter the Capitol himself, he orchastrated a seditious plot to take the Capitol by force and just days after the insurrection lamented that it didn’t come to fruition: “My only regret is they should have brought rifles […] We should have brought rifles. We could have fixed it right then and there. I’d hang fucking Pelosi from the lamppost.”
    • Sentenced to 18 years in prison for “seditious conspiracy and other charges related to the breach of the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021. […] While certain Oath Keepers members and affiliates breached the Capitol grounds and building, others remained stationed just outside of the city in quick reaction force (QRF) teams. According to the government’s evidence, the QRF teams were prepared to rapidly transport firearms and other weapons into Washington, D.C., in support of operations aimed at using force to stop the lawful transfer of presidential power.

These were not peaceful protesters, nor was it a simple matter of a few lone gunmen acting their own accord. In addition to the Oath Keeper’s QRF, the Three Percenters also had a heavily armed faction of forty calling themselves ‘The B Squad’ named in reference to their Plan B “an alternate plan to be in place if they do not get the desired electoral outcome (i.e., the former president remaining in power).” Both the Oath Keeper’s QRF and the Three Percenter’s B Squad stockpiled heavy weapons in nearby hotels. Although most of these milita factions awaited the call for action, five members of the B Squad did confront with Capitol police. According to the New York Times, on the day of the insurrection one of these five B Squad members, Brian Bensch, “posted a video of himself outside the Capitol wearing body armor and a gas mask and carrying an AR-15-style rifle.

President Trump was fully complicit with his crowd being armed. His chief concern was his crowd looking too small. This was revealed in an explosive testimony by Cassidy Hutchinson, assistent to the Chief of Staff. Page 70 of the January 6 Committee report, contains the following transcription of her testimony.

“When we were in the off-stage announce area tent behind the stage, [Trump] was very concerned about the shot. Meaning the photograph that we would get because the rally space wasn’t full. One of the reasons, which I’ve previously stated, was because he wanted it to be full and for people to not feel excluded because they had come far to watch him at the rally. And he felt the mags [magnetometers] were at fault for not letting everybody in, but another leading reason and likely the primary reasons is because he wanted it full and he was angry that we weren’t letting people through the mags with weapons—what the Secret Service deemed as weapons, and are, are weapons. But when we were in the off-stage announce tent, I was a part of a conversation, I was in the vicinity of a conversation where I overheard the President say something to the effect of, “I don’t F’ing care that they have weapons. They’re not here to hurt me. Take the F’ing mags away. Let my people in. They can march to the Capitol fromhere. Let the people in. Take the F’ing mags away.”[Emphasis added]

There was nothing “weaponrized” about the Biden DOJ, they did their job in holding these domestic terrorists accountable for their illegal actions to overthrow a free and fair election at the orders of an outgoing treasonous President who couldn’t accept the fact that he lost. Again: don’t want to do the time, don’t do the crime.

He fully pardoned most, commuted sentences, and ordered immediate release of those still imprisoned, ending years of harsh solitary confinement, denied due process, and family separation for exercising their First Amendment rights.

No matter how much Trump and his MAGA cult want it to be so, the First Amendment does not give American citizens carte blanche to commit acts of terrorism on government property and threaten the lives of government employees. Again, as we established above, these were armed insurrectionists who wanted to hang the Vice President and House Speaker because President Trump had made them a target with his lies about a stolen election. As if to illustrate lack of remorse, upon receiving his pardon, Jacob Chansley the Qanon Shaman tweeted how he planned to celebrate: “NOW I AM GONNA BUY SOME MOTHA FU*KIN GUNS!!!

Since being pardoned, dozens other J6 insurrectionists have since been arrested again for continued violent crimes. So much for learning their lesson!

By pardoning these criminals, giving aid to these enemies of the state, Trump has [again] violated Section 3 of the Fourteen Amendment, No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may, by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.”

Since January 6, 2021, Nancy Pelosi spent over 3 years and nearly $20 million in taxpayer funds on her partisan Select Committee, producing a scripted TV spectacle to fabricate an “insurrection” narrative and pin all blame on President Trump.

Firstly, Nancy Pelosi hasn’t been Speaker of the House since January 3 2023. And the formation of a January 6 Select Committee was decided by Congressional vote of 222–190 on June 30 2021, with all Democrat and two Republican congresspeople, Adam Kinzinger and Liz Cheney, voting in favour of it. Pelosi appointed the first committee members on July 1 2021, and the report itself was finalised on December 22, 2022, twelve days before Pelosi stepped down as House Speaker and peacefully transferred her power to Kevin McCarthy. That’s just under 1.5 years, not 3 years.

Secondly, the Committee’s investigation reportedly cost $3.32 million, not $20 million. If we’re talking about wasted money, whose shedding a tear for the $4.3 million that Trump spent pushing his big lie that the election was stolen which ultimately culminated in the January 6 insurrection? Granted, much of that $4.3 million came from Trump’s billionaire friends. But, given that the Committee uncovered among other things a plot to pressure Vice President Pence to count fake electoral college votes in the place of official ones, I’d say that $3.32 million taxpayer money was well spent and about evened things out. Trump and his cronies spent $4 million pushing a deadly lie, the American taxpayers paid $3 million for the truth.

Third, it was not a partisan Select Committee. The Vice Chairman was Liz Cheney, a Republican. Adam Kinzinger was also a Republican and part of that Committee. The rest of the members were Democrats. By definition, that makes it a bipartisan committee.

Fourth, there is no evidence that this was a “scripted TV spectacle to fabricate an “insurrection” narrative and pin all blame on President Trump.” The committee interviewed members of Trump’s own cabinet (including Eric Hershmann, Patrick Cipollone, and Cassidy Hutchinson) and even members of Trump’s legal team (including Sidney Powell and Rudy Gulliani) who testified as to what happened in the days leading up to and during the insurrection. Furthermore, many of Trump’s co-conspirators (including Kenneth Chesbro and Sidney Powell) have since pleaded guilty for their roles in the Fake Electors scheme and various other illegal actions intended to change the election results, schemes uncovered by the Select Committee. If you’re going to claim the hearings were “scripted” and the findings “fabricated”, make sure your co-conspirators don’t plead guilty to said crimes! And we have video evidence of Trump’s mob committing an insurrection and video evidence of Trump himself inciting the insurrection, telling his terrorists to “fight like hell. And if you don’t fight like hell, you’re not gonna have a country anymore.”

Video and audio recordings, including unaired HBO footage from her own daughter, show Nancy Pelosi repeatedly acknowledging responsibility for the catastrophic security failures—admitting “We have totally failed” and “I take full responsibility” for not having the National Guard pre-deployed, despite intelligence warnings and President Trump’s offers of troops that were ignored under her leadership as Speaker.

The fallacy here is called quotemining. Trump has repeatedly pushed a false narrative that he offered 10,000 National Guard troops to protect the Capitol, and that Pelosi turned them down. To try and substantiate this claim, the webpage plays this clip that Pelosi’s daughter had video recorded while she and her aides were being rushed to safety by the secret service. The clip that the White House shares is not even full clip. CNN had previously aired the full video, which I shall now supply. The following is a transcript of the full statements in the video clip, the section in bold is what the White House deceptively ommitted.

Nancy Pelosi: We have responsibility, Terry. We did not have any accountability for what was for what was going on there, and we should have. This is ridiculous! You’re going to ask me in the middle of the thing when they’ve already breached the inaugural stuff that should we call the Capitol police? I mean, the National Guard? Why weren’t the National Guard there to begin with?

Terri McCullough: They thought that they had sufficient-

Nancy Pelosi: No, that is not a question of how they had, they don’t know. They clearly didn’t know, and I take responsiblity for not having them just prepare for more. Because it’s stupid that we should be in a situation like this. Because they thought they had what? They thought these people would act civilized? They thought these people give a damn?

There is a lot of context to unpack with this exchange. But clearly, even with the White House’s deceptive quotemining, nothing in Pelosi’s statement implies or even suggests that she took responsibility for the National Guard not being deployed. Only that they were not more prepared against the attack. She was clearly venting and expressing her raw emotions over what she had just been evacuated from – because she and members of Congress feared something like this would happen. It was her big ‘I told you so‘ moment that she had long feared.

CNN had previously aired seventeen minutes worth of footage that Pelosi’s daughter had also shot in the hours leading up to the attack, and during her evacuation. It is clear from that footage that Pelosi was extremely concerned that the protest would turn ugly. When it did turn ugly, she and her fellow Majority and Minority Leaders are clearly seen in the video trying to reach the President, practically begging the White House staff to get him to deploy the National Guard. The House Speaker has no authority to, and by extension responsibility in, deploying the National Guard. That responsibility lies squarely with the President of the United States.

Christopher Miller, who was Acting Secretary of Defence at the time, provides a very different account of what happened. According to an article in Vanity Fair, on the evening of January 5: “The president, Miller recalled, asked how many troops the Pentagon planned to turn out the following day. “We’re like, ‘We’re going to provide any National Guard support that the District requests,’” Miller responded. “And [Trump] goes, ‘You’re going to need 10,000 people.’ No, I’m not talking bullshit. He said that. And we’re like, ‘Maybe. But you know, someone’s going to have to ask for it.’” At that point Miller remembered the president telling him, “‘You do what you need to do. You do what you need to do.’ He said, ‘You’re going to need 10,000.’ That’s what he said. Swear to God.”

However, as Miller would later reveal before a House of Representatives Hearing held on May 12 2021, Trump wanted the guardmens – not to protect the Capitol – but to protect his demonstrators! The question that Trump had asked Miller on January 5 was in follow up to an earlier discussion held on January 3, in which he told Miller to: “Do whatever is necessary to protect demonstrators that were executing their constitutionally protected rights.” Miller testified that he strongly advised against sending in the National Guard just to protect the January 6 rally, because doing so would fan fears of the government advocating Martial Law.

Later, when testifying before the January 6 Committee on February 14 2022, Miller stated under penalty of perjury that Trump issued no order for 10,000 National Guard troops to protect the Capitol on January 6. That such comments were only banter.

Liz Cheney: I want to turn to the January 5th call […] From your statement you said: “He then commented that, quote, they were going to need 10,000 troops the following day.” […] First, the 10,000 troops, did you take that as a request for you or an order to you to deploy 10,000 troops?

Christopher Miller: No, absolutely not. I interpreted it as a bit of presidential banter or President Trump banter that you all are familiar with, and in no way, shape, or form did I interpret that as an order or direction.

Liz Cheney: So you took no action as a result of this banter?

Christopher Miller: Well, no, because I understood that there were going to be 35 — we expected 35,000 protesters with 8- to 10,000. I don’t even know how many police were on the street that day. I was hoping you guys would figure that one out, but regardless, whether it’s 8 or 10, domestic law enforcement entities had stated earlier that they could handle much — you know, a million people. So to hear — I didn’t think there was any response needed, even if there were more protesters than expected, that local law enforcement could handle it.

Liz Cheney: So I want to be clear here that — since then, in February 2021, Mark Meadows said on Fox News that, quote: “Even in January, that was a given as many as 10,000 National Guard troops were told to be on the ready by the Secretary of Defense.” Is there any accuracy to that statement?

Christopher Miller: I’m not — not from my perspective. I was never given any direction or order or knew of any plans of that nature. So I was surprised by seeing that publicly, but I don’t know the context or even where it was. So, no, there was — obviously we had plans for activating more folks, but that was not anything more than contingency planning. There was no official message traffic or anything of that nature regarding —

Liz Cheney: So, just so we’re clear, you did not have 10,000 troops, quote, to be on the ready for January 6th prior to January 6th?

Christopher Miller: A nonmilitary person probably could have some sort of weird interpretation, but no. The answer to your question is no. That was not part of my plan or the Department of Defense’s plan.

Liz Cheney: And just the rest of his statement was, quote: “That was a direct order from President Trump, and yet here is what we see, all kinds of blame going around, but not a whole lot of accountability.” To be crystal clear, there was no direct order from President Trump to put 10,000 troops to be on the ready for January 6th, correct?

Christopher Miller: No. Yeah. That’s correct. There was no direct — there was no order from the President.

In his testimonies to both the House and Select Committee, Miller makes several references to his “fullfilling the requests of [Democratic] Mayor Muruel Bowser.” And this is where things get interesting. According to a Associated Press published on January 5th:

Now with downtown D.C. businesses boarding up their windows, Mayor Muriel Bowser has requested a limited National Guard deployment to help bolster the Metropolitan Police Department. During a press conference on [January 4], Bowser asked that local area residents stay away from downtown D.C., and avoid confrontations with anyone who is “looking for a fight.” But, she warned, “we will not allow people to incite violence, intimidate our residents or cause destruction in our city.

According to a U.S. defense official, Bowser put in a request on New Year’s Eve to have Guard members on the streets from Tuesday to Thursday to help with the protests. The official said the additional forces will be used for traffic control and other assistance but they will not be armed or wearing body armor.” [Emphasis added]

Clearly, Mayor Boswer could also see the writing on the wall and feared Trump supporters were “looking for a fight.” The U.S. defence official mentioned in the article is almost certainly Miller. But why only a limited National Guard deployment? And why an unarmed deployment?

Bowser was under the mistaken impression that the Capitol police had everything under control, and had sent a memo to Miller, Acting US Attorney General Jeffery Rosen, and Secretary of the Army Ryan McCarthy, which she shared publicly in a tweet. Her memo strongly advising against the deployment of additional law enforcement personnel without requests for such. She also referenced unnamed personnel who in 2020 “caused confusion among residents and visitors and could become a national security threat with no way for Metropolitian Police Department and federal law enforcement to decipher armed groups.” This, of course, was in reference to the fiasco at Layfayette the year prior.

Upon receiving Bowser’s memo, McCarthy in turn issued his own to the DC National Guard restricting them from responding to requests without permission from the Secretary of the Army and Secretary of Defence. It also restricted what kinds of weapons the National Guard could carry. Clearly, the only Democrat who was apprehensive about sending in the National Guard prior to January 6 was Mayor Bowser, and not for the reasons Trump falsely tries to pin on Pelosi.

Mayor Bowser was clearly fearful of a trigger-happy National Guard doing the president’s bidding and turning it into another Layfayette. Hence her request for only a limited deployment. Keep in mind too, that in the weeks leading up to January 6, many MAGA supporters, including General Michael Flynn and Sidney Powell, had pushed an idea that the president could declare a state of martial law and use the military to rerun the election in swing states or otherwise confiscate voting machines. Bowser’s concerns were not unreasonable.

Given Trump’s documented tendency to get his political opponents confused, one could interpret this as Trump going after the wrong Democrat. But again, as Miller testified, the order for 10,000 troops never came, it was only banter. And even if it was an official order, Trump was obviously more interested in protecting his domestic terrorists, rather than protecting the Capitol from them.

When it was clear that the January 6 insurrection was just that, members of Trump’s cabinet begged him to send in the National Guard or take a public stand aginst the violence. Members of the House and Senate from both sides of the political spectrum telephoned and begged Trump to send in the National Guard and take a stand against the violence. Instead, Trump stalled and stalled in sending the Capitol guard and watched the riot unfold on television for hours. Again I must emphasize: it is the US President, not the House Speaker, who has the authority to call in the National Guard; and the President instead chose to watch the riot on TV.

The Democrats masterfully reversed reality after January 6, branding peaceful patriotic protesters as “insurrectionists” and framing the event as a violent coup attempt orchestrated by Trump—despite no evidence of armed rebellion or intent to overthrow the government.

The exact opposite is true. Again, we have video evidence of Trump himself inciting the mob to “Fight like hell. And if you don’t fight like hell, you’re not gonna have a country anymore.” We have hours and hours of video evidence clearly showing Trump’s supporters, many of whom we established above were armed, violently clashing with police and threatening to “Hang Mike Pence”. And we also have archived police chatter clearly declaring the situation a riot.

In truth, it was the Democrats who staged the real insurrection by certifying a fraud-ridden election, ignoring widespread irregularities, and weaponizing federal agencies to hunt down dissenters, all while Pelosi’s own security lapses invited the chaos they later exploited to seize and consolidate power.

There is no evidence that the 2020 election was rigged. Republican Senator John Danford and seven of his fellow Republican lawmakers published an excellent report that exhaustively examined all allegations of fraud in the 2020 election. Their report is titled Lost, not Stolen: The Conservative Case that Trump Lost and Biden Won the 2020 Presidential Election. As it’s title suggest, they proved that there was no widespread voter fraud in the 2020 election and the only confirmed cases of irregularities were simply not substantial enough to change the outcome of the election. An independent study lead by Associated Press journalist Christina Cassidy investigated the votes cast in all the swing states and determined fewer than 475 of them to be suspicious. This is a negligible amount of voter fraud and wouldn’t have made a dent in the outcome.

Trump knew that he lost the election. His closest cabinet members told him so, his Attorney General Bill Barr (who published a bastardised summary of the Mueller report to try and protect Trump from wrongdoing) told him so, and Republican lawmakers in the contested swing states told him so.

And again, as established above, the House Speaker has no authority in calling in the National Guard. That responsibility lies with the President. There was a combination of factors that lead to lapse of security that cannot be placed on the shoulders of any one individual (i.e. the police convincing the Mayor and the DoD that they had everything under control, the Mayor’s fears of the National Guard turning it into another Layfayette, and the new restrictions Ryan McCarthy’s office thrust upon the National Guard). But that choas was invited by Trump and Trump alone, he didn’t want 10,000 Guardsmen to protect the Capitol, if anything he wanted them to protect his hoard of domestic terrorists. And ironically enough, many of the terrorists who participated in the insurrection video recorded themselves stating that Trump invited them to the Capitol.

The only one who was trying to seize and consolidate power was Trump himself. Together with John Eastman and Kenneth Chesbro, he conspired to substitute fake slates electors in place of the official ones and tried to pressure Mike Pence to count these fake slates. And Trump pressured official in swing states that he lost to change the outcome of the election, most memorably his January 2nd telephone call to Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger to “find 11,780 votes” that he knew and was did not exist. As I said in my book, this is the clincher that Trump knew he had lost. How could he honestly claim the election was lost when, by his own admission, he hadn’t found the margain of votes he needed to win by one?

This gaslighting narrative allowed them to persecute innocent Americans, silence opposition, and distract from their own role in undermining democracy.

Pot. Kettle. Black.

The webpage then proceeds to provide a tabular timeline of events completely fabricating or otherwise distorting what happened in the days leading up to, during, and after the insurrection. And which I shall now debunk.

Call to Action

President Trump Invites Americans to DC

President Trump invites patriotic Americans to Washington, DC on January 6 for a peaceful and historic protest against certifying the stolen 2020 election. He emphasizes standing up for election integrity while calling for peaceful demonstration. Hundreds of thousands respond to the call to show support.

Pre-January 6, 2021

This is in reference this infamous tweat published in the early hours of December 19, 2020.

All but the last twelve words push a baseless report propagating his false claims of a stolen election. As an aside, prior to Elon Musk purchasing Twitter, this tweet was slapped as MISLEADING by Twitter moderators. The last twelve words are Trump’s now infamous “Big protest in D.C. on January 6th. Be there, will be wild! There is no mention of peace in this tweat. And his supporters who saw it did not see it as an invitation to a peaceful protest, but as a call to arms.

SAVE AMERICA RALLY

President Trump Delivers Powerful Speech

At the Ellipse, President Trump speaks to hundreds of thousands of supporters, detailing evidence of election fraud and urging the crowd to march to the Capitol to “peacefully and patriotically make their voices heard.” He stresses the need to fight for the country through strength and determination, explicitly calling for peaceful protest. The crowd responds with massive enthusiasm.

12:00pm – 1:15pm

The one and only mention of the word “peacefully” was drafted, not by Trump himself, but by his speechwriters. And it was at complete odds with his twenty uses of the word “fight”. In fact, the Committee found that while the speechnotes only contain two mentions of the word “fight”, Trump ad-libbed it another eighteen times. Throughout the speech he told lie after lie about the election being stolen and directed his crowd’s anger towards Mike Pence, Democrats, unfavourable news coverage he falsely called “Fake News”, and anybody he deemed a “weak Republican”. And before telling them to march “peacefully and patriotically,” Trump opened the phrase with “you’ll never take back our country with weakness. You have to show strength. Below is the full speech and a list of all the times President used the words “fight” and “peaceful.”

  • “…And Rudy, you did a great job. He’s got guts. You know what? He’s got guts, unlike a lot of people in the Republican Party. He’s got guts. He fights, he fights.”
  • “For years, Democrats have gotten away with election fraud and weak Republicans. And that’s what they are. There’s so many weak Republicans. And we have great ones. Jim Jordan and some of these guys, they’re out there fighting. The House guys are fighting. But it’s, it’s incredible.”
  • “…And you have to get your people to fight. And if they don’t fight, we have to primary the hell out of the ones that don’t fight. You primary them.”
  • “No third-world countries would even attempt to do what we caught them doing. And you’ll hear about that in just a few minutes. Republicans are, Republicans are constantly fighting like a boxer with his hands tied behind his back. It’s like a boxer. And we want to be so nice. We want to be so respectful of everybody, including bad people. And we’re going to have to fight much harder.”
  • Because you’ll never take back our country with weakness. You have to show strength and you have to be strong. We have come to demand that Congress do the right thing and only count the electors who have been lawfully slated, lawfully slated. I know that everyone here will soon be marching over to the Capitol building to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard.”
  • “But we’ve done it quickly and we were going to sit home and watch a big victory and everybody had us down for a victory. It was going to be great and now we’re out here fighting.”
  • “The American people do not believe the corrupt, fake news anymore. They have ruined their reputation. But you know, it used to be that they’d argue with me. I’d fight. So I’d fight, they’d fight, I’d fight, they’d fight. Pop pop. You’d believe me, you’d believe them. Somebody comes out. You know, they had their point of view, I had my point of view, but you’d have an argument. Now what they do is they go silent. It’s called suppression and that’s what happens in a communist country. That’s what they do, they suppress. You don’t fight with them anymore. Unless it’s a bad story. They have a little bad story about me, they make it 10 times worse and it’s a major headline.”
  • “But our fight against the big donors, big media, big tech, and others is just getting started. This is the greatest in history. There’s never been a movement like that.”
  • “And we fight. We fight like hell. And if you don’t fight like hell, you’re not going to have a country anymore.”

In addition to Trump’s own speech. His was preceeded by equally infammatory speeches by his supporters. Republican congressman Mo Brooks told the crowd: “Today is the day American patriots start taking down names and kicking ass! Now, our ancestors sacrificed their blood, their sweat, their tears, their fortunes, and sometimes their lives to give us, their descendants, an America that is the greatest nation in world history. So, I have a question for you: are you willing to do the same? My answer is yes! Louder! Are you willing to do what it takes to fight for America? Louder! WILL YOU FIGHT FOR AMERICA!?

Rudy Giuliani concluded his speech with: “Let’s have trial by combat!” Now, for those who don’t know, ‘trial by combat’ is the ancient method in Gernanic law where – in the absence of evidence or confessions or witnesses – the two parties settle their dispute by fighting to the death. These are hardly calls for a peaceful protest! So much so, that even before Trump took to the podium, his insurrectionists were already chanting “FIGHT FOR TRUMP!”

PEACEFUL MARCH

Patriots March to the Capitol

Following the President’s speech, the massive crowd peacefully marches down Constitution Avenue to the Capitol to protest the certification of the fraudulent election. The march is orderly and spirited, with flags, signs, and chants supporting President Trump.

1:00pm-1:30pm

It was not a peaceful march. Many of the rioters recorded videos of themselves during the march, in which they were clearly seen chanting inflammatory remarks. For examples:

  • “Cut their fucking head off!”
  • “If you voted for treason, we’re gonna drag your ass through the streets!”
  • “Fuck Antifa! Fuck Antifa! Fuck Antifa!”

FYI, Antifa is the abreviation for “Anti Fascist”. Opposing anti-facsism can only mean being a facsist.

And remember too, many of these people avoided the magnetometers at the Ellipse park specifically to avoid getting their firearms taken away. They marched down the alley with the fullest of intentions to take the building by force.

Security Failures

Capitol Police Response Escalates Tensions

Capitol Police aggressively fire tear gas, flash bangs, and rubber munitions into crowds of peaceful protesters, injuring many and deliberately escalating tensions. Video evidence shows officers inexplicably removing barricades, opening Capitol doors, and even waving attendees inside the building—actions that facilitated entry—while simultaneously deploying violent force against others. These inconsistent and provocative tactics turned a peaceful demonstration into chaos.

1:10pm-3:00pm

This is simply a lie. Again, we have video evidence to the contrary. The video evidence shows the so-called peaceful protestors pushing and shoving at the barricades, calling the police officers “pigs”, before finally pushing the barricades on top of the police officers. “Get back, ladies!” one of the terrorists can be heard taunting.

The viral video clip that the webpage refers to was recorded by TikTok video journalist Marcus Diapola and is taken out of context. He told Politifact and Newsweek, “They definitely didn’t just open the barriers. The pro-Trump rioters made a fist like they were going to punch the cops, which is why I started recording. Then (police) backed off the barricades. They were completely outnumbered. There wouldn’t have been any point in fighting.

Group just pushed Capitol police

Diapola also told Politifact that he recorded the video around 2pm – over two hours after the rioters had already smashed windows to break into the Capitol. And ironically enough, in the raw footage, Diapola can be heard clearly stating “They just breached the Capitol again!” Again. Meaning the rioters had already breached the Capitol prior to the video being recorded. Clearly, there is nothing inconsistent about the January 6 footage, just a bunch of pro-Trump propagandists dishonestly presenting it out of context.

Another MAGA talking point is that one of the police officers posed for a selfie with one of the rioters. Unsurprisingly, they neglect to mention the fact that the officer in question was suspended for such actions, according to Politico reporter Caitlin Emma.

CALL FOR PEACE

President Trump Urges Calm

As events unfold, President Trump repeatedly calls for peace, tweeting support for law enforcement and releasing a video telling supporters “go home in peace” while reiterating love for them and election concerns. He consistently promotes non-violence despite the attack on attendees and emotions running high.

2:24pm-4:47pm

This is simply false. As stated above, Trump repeatedly ignored requests from his staff to put out a statement demanding the violence to be quelled. At 2:24pm, he tweated: “Mike Pence didn’t have the courage to do what should have been done to protect our Country and our Constitution, giving States a chance to certify a corrected set of facts, not the fraudulent or inaccurate ones which they were asked to previously certify. USA demands the truth!” Interestingly, Trump deleted this tweat after Elon Musk reinstated his account. But the screenshots still exist.

At 2:38, Trump tweated, “Please support our Capitol Police and Law Enforcement. They are truly on the side of our Country. Stay peaceful!

However, during the Select Committee’s investigation, it unearthed that Trump did not tweat this on his own accord. As Press Secretary Sarah Mathews testified before the Committee, “When [Kayleigh McEnany] got back, she told me that a tweet had been sent out. And I told her that I thought the tweet did not go far enough. That I thought there needed to be a call to action and he needed to condemn the violence. And we were in a room full of people, but people weren’t paying attention, and so she looked directly at me, and in a hushed tone, shared with me that the president did not want to include any sort of mention of ‘peace’ in that tweet. And that it took some convincing on their part, those who were in the room, and she said that there was a back and forth going over different phrases to find something that he was comfortable with. And it wasn’t until Ivanka Trump suggested the phrase “stay peaceful” that he finally agreed to include it.” [Emphasis added]

During the time before then, Trump’s staff continued to beg him to put out a stronger condemnation of the violence. He also received phone call after phone call from Senators and Congressmen being evacuated from the people. One of them was House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy. His phone conversation has been documented on page248 of Woodward and Costa’s Peril, pages291-292 of Johnathon Karl’s Betrayal, among various other history books and news sources.

McCarthy told the President: “You have got to get on TV, you’ve got to get on Twitter, you’ve got to call these people off!
To which Trump replied: “These aren’t my people, you know, these are—these are Antifa.
McCarthy argued evidence to the contrary: “They’re your people. They literally just came through my office windows, and my staff are running for cover. I mean, they’re running for their lives. You need to call themoff.” The President finally caved and half-heartedly told McCarthy that he’ll put out a tweet, but not without adding: “Well, Kevin, I guess they’re just more upset about the election theft than you are.

Given the sheer amount of effort it took Trump’s staff to convince him to post the above tweet, I can’t imagine what it took to get him to write the next tweet posted at 3:13pm, “I am asking for everyone at the U.S. Capitol to remain peaceful. No violence! Remember, WE are the Party of Law & Order – respect the Law and our great men and women in Blue. Thank you!” Remain peaceful? They were not peaceful to begin with. Again, he did not tell his supporters to leave. Not for another 64 minutes, after it was clear his insurrection would fail.

As was the case with the first tweet, Trump rejected many of their suggestions of what to say in the video message. Jonathon Karl writes on page300 of his book,

And aide who was with him told me Trump had to tape the message several times before he got it right. Looking back at the message that was finally sent out it’s hard to imagine how bad the rejected versions must have been. […] He was finally telling his supporters to go home, but he wasn’t condemning their actions. In fact, as the message went on, it was clear that what he was really condemning, yet again, was the election. […] We love you. You are very special. That was Trump’s message to the people who had just beaten police officers, broken into the Capitol, and screamed for the execution of Vice President Pence. We love you. You are very special.”

Matthews later testified, “[H]e told the people who we had just watched storm our nation’s Capitol with the intent on overthrowing our democracy, violently attack police officers, and chant heinous things like, “Hang Mike Pence,” “We love you. You’re very special.” As a spokesperson for him, I knew that I would be asked to defend that. And to me, his refusal to act and call off the mob that day and his refusal to condemn the violence was indefensible. And so, I knew that I would be resigning that evening.”

PELOSI ADMITS RESPONSIBILITY

Leaked Pelosi Video Reveals Security Lapses

Leaked footage captured by Nancy Pelosi’s daughter shows the Speaker in a rage during evacuation, furiously admitting, “I take responsibility” for the catastrophic failure to pre-position National Guard troops—despite President Trump’s prior authorization and offers of 10,000 troops that were rejected. Pelosi repeatedly demands to know why security was so inadequate on her watch, exposing the deliberate refusal to accept offered protection and the ignored or delayed requests for reinforcements.

2:30pm-3:30pm

Debunked above. In summary: Pelosi in the heat of her raw emotions said “I take responsibility for not having them just prepare for more” which in no way implies that she denied National Guard support prior to the Capitol; Trump wanted the National Guard troops to defend his terrorists, not the Capitol; such a request for that purpose was strongly advised against by Acting Defence Secretary over fears it would be perceived as the government initiating martial law; said Acting Defence Secretary testified that there was never an official order by the President for 10,000 troops to defend the Capitol; and the President, not the House Speaker, has the authority to call the National Guard.

TRAGEDY AT THE CAPITOL

Ashli Babbitt Murdered in Cold Blood

Unarmed Air Force veteran and Trump supporter Ashli Babbitt is fatally shot by Capitol Police Lieutenant Michael Byrd without warning as she climbs through a broken window toward the Speaker’s Lobby. No weapon was found on her, and she posed no threat. Byrd faced no charges. Three other Americans were also killed: Rosanne Boyland, Kevin Greeson and Benjamin Philips. Zero law enforcement officers lost their lives.

2:44pm

It is not true that Ashli Babbitt was unarmed. A switchblade was found on her body. She didn’t simply climb through the broken window, she assisted the mob who broke it. The video footage clearly shows that furniture had been barricaded on the other side of the doors to try and keep these terrorists out. Many of these same terrorists had been heard singing “Nancy! Nancy! Where’s Nancy?” It is also not true that she was shot without warning. In the video, rioters can be heard shouting “He’s got a gun!” in the moments before the gunshot. Ashli Babbit ignored these warnings.

Given that Babbitt was among the crowd attempting to breach the Speaker’s Lobby, and given that she was carrying a knife, it stands to reason that she intended to stab Nancy Pelosi with it. Lt Byrd did his due diligence and acted appropriately in his use of lethal force to protect the congresspeople.

Let’s not kid ourselves, Ashli Babbitt was an armed domestic terrorist and, to be brutally honest, a fruit loop. Whatever credibility she may have had for her service in the Air Force, she had long since gone off the deep end by jumping ship to Qanon. She used her Twitter account to push far-right extremeist views and long debunked conspiracy theories, most notably Pizzagate. Yet, Trump and MAGA have turned this terrorist into a martyr. In reality, she deserves no one’s symphathy and should be remembered as a domestic terrorist who got what she had coming to her. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

As for the other three deceased that are mentioned, none of them were killed by police. Rosanne Boyland was trampled to death in the stampede of insurrectionists, Kevin Greeson died of a heart attack due to an accidential overdose, and Benjamin Philips died of a stroke.

And it is not true that no law enforcement officers died. Officer Brian Sidenick was attacked by Trump’s terrorists and died from his injuries the following day. And for four other police officers – Officiers Gunther Hashida, Kyle DeFreytag, Jeffrey Smith and Howard Liebengood – the traumatic experience drove them to suicide. For pushing the big lie that the 2020 election was stolen and inciting a riot, Donald Trump and his cronies all have blood on their hands.

BETRAYAL OF THE PRESIDENT

Mike Pence Refuses to Act

Vice President Mike Pence, who had the opportunity to return disputed electoral slates to state legislatures for review and decertification under the United States Constitution, chooses not to exercise that power in an act of cowardice and sabotage. Instead, Pence presides over the certification of contested electors, undermining President Trump’s efforts to address documented fraud and ending any chance to correct the election steal.

8:00pm

This one brings us back to the matter of the Fake Electors scheme. Eastman and Chesburo orchastrated a plot for Republican loyalists in swing states that Biden won to pose as the chosen electors and submit slates of alternate (fake) electoral college votes. They knew that their actions were illegal. As evidenced by an email exchange between co-conspirators Boris Epshteyn and Jack Wilenchik, the latter of whome suggested, quote: “‘alternative’ votes is probably a better term than ‘fake’ votes.”

The scheme hit a snag when their attempts to submit these fake electoral votes for Trump to the National Archive got exposed and reported in the press, still they went ahead with the scheme. Eastman pushed a false narrative that the Vice President has a unilateral authority to reject slates of electors, and together with Trump tried to pressure Mike Pence to do it.

The Vice President has no such authority, and to do so would be unconstistutional. The Twelfth Amendment of the US Constitution explicitly states: “The President of the Senate [the Vice President of the United States] shall, in the presence of the Senate and House of Representatives, open all the certificates and the votes shall then be counted.” That’s it! It says nothing about the Vice President having any authority to reject votes or pick and choose one set of votes over another.

And on the occassions where a set of votes is in dispute, the Electoral Count Act of 1887 provides a solution. If an object is raised, for it to be entertained said objection must be jointly signed by at least one congressperson and one senator. If so, then the House and Senate members resign to their respective chambers and vote independently as to whether or not said objection shall be upheld. Again, the Vice President has no authority to reject disputed votes. That decision is decided amongst the House and Senate members.

So where did this wrong idea come from? On page261 of Betrayal, Jonathon Karl reprinted a memo that Director of White House Presidential Personnel Office John Entree had sent to Pence on January 1st 2021, alleging that Thomas Jefferson had used his Vice Presidential power to claim the 1800 election for himself.

JEFFERSON USED HIS POSITION AS VP TO WIN

  • The Constitution sets precise requirements for the form in which the states are to submit their electoral votes.
  • In 1801, the ballots of all states were in perfect conformity except Georgia’s.
  • Georgia’s submission dramatically failed to conform to the requirements.
  • VP Jefferson presided over the counting of the ballots even as he was one of the candidates.
  • Had the defective ballots been reiected. Jefferson would have most likely lost the election.
  • Senate tellers told Tefferson in a loud voice that there was a problem with the Georgia ballots.
  • Rather than investigating, Jefferson ignored the problems and announced himself the winner.
  • This proves, that the VP has, at a minimum, a substantial discretion to address issues with the electoral process.

McEntee was essentially trying to convince Mike Pence that Jefferson, one of the founding fathers, had used his Vice Presidential power to win, and that Pence therefore had the power to do the same for Trump. However, McEntee’s understanding of this episode in American history was, to say the least, fundamentally flawed and lacking context.

David Fontana & Bruce Ackerman put this matter into proper perspective in their 2004 article in The Atlantic:

“When Jefferson and the tellers looked at Georgia’s ballot, however, they saw something very different: it contained a “list,” but nothing explicitly identified Jefferson and Burr as the persons voted for. Indeed, it isn’t even clear that the document is an electoral ballot, let alone one that was “signed” and “certified” as such.” […] The tellers looked at it and told [Jefferson], in a tone loud enough for others in the room to hear, that there was a problem with it. They handed it back to Jefferson for re-examination. Jefferson then proceeded as if nothing remarkable had happened. Georgia’s votes were included in the running total, […] Until Jefferson opened the Georgia envelope, he had every reason to believe that he and Burr had won that state’s electoral votes; that’s what the newspapers had been reporting. Moreover, the members of Georgia’s congressional delegation —two of whom were Federalists—were present on the vote-counting day. Surely they would have raised a noisy objection if they believed their state’s votes had been placed in the wrong column. Moreover, Jefferson’s guess about the Georgia electors’ true intentions proved to be correct. We have gone on a fact-finding mission to the Georgia archives, and have found that the defects in the state’s ballot were merely the result of frontier lawyering. There is no doubt that the electors intended to vote for the Republican ticket.” [Emphasis added]

In other words, the only irregularity in the 1800 election is that the Georgia electoral college votes arrived in an incomplete form, not sign or specified whether the votes were intended for Thomas Jefferson or John Adams. But given it was widely reported at the time that Jefferson had won the state of Georgia, he made a judgement call and counted it as it had been reported in the newspapers. The tellers made it clear to the rest of the Joint Session that the Georgia ballot was not in the proper form. But still, nobody objected to Jefferson’s actions, because nobody disputed that he had won Georgia.

Despite these facts, Trump continued to push Entree’s warped interpretation of the 1800 election. So much so that on the morning of January 6, Trump telephoned Pence to threaten him one last time to reject ballots, and reportedly told him: “You can be a patriot or you can be a pussy. You can be Thomas Jefferson or you can be no Thomas Jefferson, and you turned out to be no Thomas Jefferson.”

Another false equivalence fallacy that Trump and Eastman attempted to push was an episode concerning Richard Nixon during his role as Vice President in certification of the 1960 election. It was the first Presidential election in which Hawaiians could vote, as the islands had become the 50th state a year prior. Initially it looked like Nixon had won the state of Hawaii, but after a recount it turned out John F Kennedy had won it. Unfortunately, the recounted votes were not completed in a timely manner. Thus when it came time to open the envelope for Hawaii, Nixon was presented with both the original ballot for himself and the recounted ballot for Kennedy.

In any case, it was clear that Kennedy had already won enough electoral votes to win the Presidency without Hawaii. So, after ensuring that there were no objections to doing so, Nixon graceously counted the slate for Kennedy instead of his own.

Despite the fact that Nixon had specifically asked if there were any objections and got none, Eastman cited this episide as “proof” that the Vice President has the power to choose which votes are counted and which are rejected. Pence disputed this claim. He pointed out that not only had Nixon acted with the approval of the House and Senate, but also that had there been an objection it would have been up to House and Senate to vote on the matter as per the Electoral College Act of 1887. Pence also argued that in the case 1960 scenario, they had two sets of electoral votes for Hawaii (the original and the tardy recount), whereas 2020 they only had one (fake slates of electors don’t count).

Pence was aware of Trump’s attempts to submit fake electors to the Joint Session. That is why, after confirming with the palimentarians that were were no alternate slates of electors for any state, Pence specified during the opening of each ballot that, “the parliamentarians advise me, is the only certificate of vote from that state and purports to be a return from the state and that has annexed to it a certificate from an authority of the state purporting to appoint or ascertain electors.

To make his devotion to the Constitution absolutely clear, Pence tweeted the following statement on the morning of January 6:

“Our Founders were deeply skeptical of concentrations of power and created a Republic based on separation of powers and checks and balances under the Constitution of the United States. Vesting the Vice President with unilatureal authority to decide presidential contests would be entirely antithetical to that design. As a student of history who loves the Constitution and reveres its Framers, I do not believe that the Founders of our country intended to invest the Vice President with unilateral authority to decide which electoral votes should be counted during the Joint Session of Congress, and no Vice President in American history has ever asserted such authority. Instead, Vice Presidents presiding over Joint Sessions have uniformly followed the Electoral Count Act, conducting the proceedings in an orderly manner even where the count resulted in the defeat of their party or their own candidacy. […] It is my considered judgment that my oath to support and defend the Constitution constrains me from claiming unilateral authority to determine which electoral votes should be counted and which should not.”

FRAUDULENT CERTIFICATION

Stolen Election Certified

After law enforcement clears the Capitol, Congress reconvenes late that night and certifies Joe Biden’s electoral votes—votes from battleground states marred by massive mail-in ballot fraud, hidden suitcases of ballots, exploding water pipes, voting machine irregularities, and unprecedented pandemic-era rule changes that bypassed state legislatures. 2020 is considered the greatest election theft in U.S. history, with widespread fraud deliberately ignored by courts, officials and the media.

8:00pm-3:40am

Again, there is no evidence of wide spread voter fraud. But at least here we some specific demonstrably incorrect talking points and lies to debunk.

First, there was no “massive mail-in ballot fraud.” Again, the confirmed cases of potential voter fraud in swing states amonted to less than 475. Of that 475, fraudulent mail-in votes typically only amount to a handful of such. And for good reason: each mail-in ballot has a barcode, those barcodes are near impossible to fake. Even Trump’s own FBI watered down claims of widespread voter fraud via mail-in ballots, when they issued the following statement “It would be extraordinarily difficult to change a federal election outcome through this type of fraud alone, given the range of processes that would need to be affected or compromised by an adversary at the local level.” Election experts concur. CEO of the National Vote at Home Institute and Coalition Amber McReynolds stated: “When people throw these ideas around, it shows a lack of understanding of the overall process.

To put into perspective the impossibility of “massive mail-in ballot fraud,” Cnet reporter Alfred Ng outlined a step by step procedure for what would be necessary to pull it off, which I shall now reprint here.

Step 1: Figure out every registered voter who requested a mail-in ballot

Not everyone’s going to have a ballot automatically sent to their mailbox. For starters, you need to be registered to vote to receive one, and in some states, you need to have requested an absentee ballot to get it.

Election officials aren’t going to count votes for people who aren’t registered voters, so any nation-state looking to print fake ballots would have to make sure they’re for people who actually exist.

Absentee ballot requests are confidential in states like North Carolina, so depending on where you are, you’d have to get access to an election county’s voter registration records illegally. That’s not impossible: In 2016, Russian hackers stole data from two Florida counties’ voter registration databases, but the next steps make committing fraud even more difficult.

Step 2: Intercept the ballot

Now that you know who you’re looking to defraud, you have to actually get their ballot to vote in their name.

You can intercept the ballots by either racing to every mailbox and snatching the envelope out before the voters receive them while hoping they don’t notice it’s gone, or changing the voters’ address so that they all send to your inbox instead.

“You have to get into the voter registration system, get their address changed and go undetected doing that,” Vote at Home’s McReynolds said. “If you’re in a state that offers ballot tracking, you have to avoid voters getting a text saying ‘your ballot is on its way to you’ or seeing that it went to the wrong address. You have to assume they’re not going to vote or pay attention in a presidential year where we’re going to have the highest turnout on record.”

Counties across the US use ballot tracking, including Virginia, Florida, Kansas, South Carolina, Michigan and Illinois. BallotScout, an app from the organization Democracy Works, offers online tracking services for ballots where voters can see the status of their ballot the same way you’d track a package shipping.

Ballot envelopes have specific barcodes on them that let the US Postal Service know that the package is a vote, with unique serial numbers on them tied to individual voter records. If you’re trying to intercept a ballot, you’ll need to overcome this tracking system too.

“A voter would be able to see their ballot move through the mail stream, and they can advocate for themselves now,” said Jessenia Eliza, Democracy Works’ director of government initiatives. “They can say they sent this ballot five days ago, it should’ve been received, and call the office themselves.”

Step 3. Get good at forging signatures and really good at guessing

Nearly every state requires a signature on the ballot to verify a voter’s identity when it’s mailed in. The signatures need to match the ones logged on the voter’s registration file, and is required for both issuing ballots and counting the vote.

“Forging someone else’s signature on an application and submitting it to receive a ballot is both extremely difficult, and a crime,” Michigan’s Department of State said in a statement. “It is rarely attempted.”

Some states require multiple signatures, like a notary or a witness to sign off on the mail-in ballot. In North Carolina, voters have to sign their ballots in front of a witness, who also signs the envelope the vote is sent in.

When you register to vote in Minnesota, Simon said, you also have to provide your driver’s license number, your state ID number and the last four digits of your Social Security number. The state uses that to verify votes also.

So once you intercept the ballot, you’d need to be able to account for all of these details too.

“Unless the mailbox thief knows not only the person’s personal identifying information, or which specific form they used, the joke is on the would-be thief,” Simon said.

Assuming you try your luck at forging signatures, some counties also have machines scanning for accuracy on the votes to make sure they match up. If it’s not a good enough match, it often gets flagged to a person to check, and if enough anomalies pop up, election officials said they would investigate further.

If you’ve gotten through all of these security checks, congratulations: You’ve done something most election officials would consider nearly impossible.

But remember, you need to do this for hundreds — if not thousands — of people for your effort to actually affect the outcome.

Second, there were no hidden suitcase ballots, only a State Farm Arena security camera video that was cut and spliced out of context by Giuliani. And this was debunked by both the Georgia Secretary of State Office and in a special aired by WSB-TV.

Third, the water leak, which also occurred at the State Farm Arena, merely delayed the vote counting by a mere two hours. No ballots were lost or destroyed in the leak, and again the raw securtity footages proves it.

Fourth, there were no voting machine irregularity that didn’t go uncorrected. One such alleged voting machine irregularity that Trump loyalists harp on and on about occurred at Antrim County in Michigan. Initially, the count showed that Biden had won that county. But this was a glitch due to human error, which was corrected within hours. The vote counting machines had not been properly updated to the current format since the previous election, and so it miscounted the votes. Garbage in = garbage out. After the proper system update, an automatic and manual recount was conducted, which confirmed Trump won Antrim County.

This should have been the end of the matter. Instead, Sidney Powell and other Trump lawyers spun it into ridiculous conspiracy theories about vote rigging software at play, which ballooned into all kinds of absurdities. Like the claim that Venezuelan President Hugo Chávez (who died in 2013) was involved in a scheme to have the Dominion and Smartmatc voting machines flip votes for Trump to Biden. Or the claim that the Chinese hacked into said machines via Nest smart thermostats. I couldn’t possibly make this up, but apparently Trump’s legal team can. Needless to say, the Trump legal team could prove none of these cases in court, not even in the ones whose judges Trump appointed.

Ultimately, these false allegations of fraid via voting machines resulted in Dominion suing Fox News for airing these defamatory claims. Which resulted in Fox paying Dominion a $787 million settlement.

And there were no “unprecedented pandemic-era rule changes that bypassed state legislatures”. All vote counting was conducted under the guidelines of the law and with regard for public safety in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. Any pandemic-era rule changes that Trump didn’t like, he only has himself to blame for – he was the one who dowplayed the seriousness of the coronavirus, contradicted the advice of health experts, activively pushed disinformation. His disastrous mishandling of the pandemic is what cost Trump the election.

BIG TECH AND Banking Collusion

President Trump Silenced

Despite his explicit calls for peaceful protest, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and other platforms collude to ban President Trump, citing “incitement” in a blatant act of election interference. JPMorgan, Bank of America, Capital One, and other major financial institutions debank President Trump and his family, closing accounts, freezing funds, and denying services in a ruthless campaign of financial persecution to destroy them politically and economically. Legacy media suppresses evidence of fraud.

Post-January 6, 2021

Again, Trump did not call for a peaceful protest. The one and only mention of “peaceful” in his speech was drafted by his speechwriters. Trump deliberately stalled in deploying the National Guard and he only included the word “peaceful” in his tweets at the suggestion of his daughter – who I might add, he fantasises about having incestuous relationships with.

Again, if you don’t want to do the time, don’t do the crime. We all saw Trump incite an insurrection and he used his social media platforms to continue to do so. These social media platforms were right to ban him. They would not tolerate this kind of behaviour from nobodies on the internet, why it should be tolerated by a world leader? Unfortunately, now Twitter is run by a man as recklessly irresponsible as Elon Musk who let Trump back onto the platform, which as stated above gave Trump the opportunity to whitewash January 6 by deleting his tweet about Pence not having courage.

And the freezing of Trump’s assets were for reasons completely unrelated to January 6. As JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon stated: “We have not debanked anyone because of political or religious relationships, period. Now, when we debank someone, they often blame that reason, but that’s not a reason.” I cannot comment with authority on these alleged debankings, but if they are true I’d say Trump’s history of corporate bankrupcties and civil frauds might have something to do with it.

POLITICAL PERSECUTION

Mass Arrests of Patriotic Protesters

The Biden DOJ launches a coordinated nationwide dragnet, arresting over 1,500 January 6 attendees in pre-dawn raids—many for mere trespassing or parading. Hundreds were held as political prisoners for years in harsh conditions, denied speedy trials, and given lengthy sentences in what is considered an unprecedented and diabolical weaponization of federal law enforcement against Trump supporters. At least five J6 defendants took their own life while facing prosecution.

We established above that many of these domestic terrorists were armed, violently clashed with police, vandalised government property, threatened the lives of police and elected officials, and in extreme cases engaged in seditious conspiracy. These were not political prisoners, they were not hostages. They were given their due process, they were trialed fairly, and ultimately got the sentencing they deserved.

Again, if you don’t want to do the time, don’t do the crime.

PARTISAN WITCH HUNT

January 6 Select Committee Exposed

Speaker Pelosi’s hand-picked January 6 Select Committee, stacked with anti-Trump Democrats and two RINOs (Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger), spent over 3 years and nearly $20 million in taxpayer funds on a propaganda spectacle to demonize President Trump and his supporters. They coached witnesses like Cassidy Hutchinson—leading to calls for perjury and witness tampering investigations against them—while withholding exculpatory evidence, deleting encrypted files, and ignoring security failures.

Again, that $20 million price tag is off by a factor of about six. And by definition the Committee was bipartian because it had a mix of Democrats and Republications. RINO or Republican In Name Only is what Trump calls any Republican who is not a spineless and obedient sychophant to him. The fact that there are fewer Republicans than Democrats on the Committee is indicative of the GOP’s sychophantism. Remember, the formation of the January 6 Committee was voted in favour by the House at 252–175, with all Democrates and only 35 Republicans voting yes. It’s astonishing how many Republicans were willing to leech off the support of anybody stupid or immoral enough to vote for Trump, rather than try to salvage some credibility after said voters tried to kill them.

The rest of this tablet is almost pointless to comment on. It’s the typical perpetual crying victimhood and whining that we’ve come to expect from Trump whenever things don’t go his way. There is no evidence that the witnesses were coached. Even his own daughter Ivanka testified before the Committee, who came on her own acord according to PBS News.

Much of what many of these witnesses said is colloborated with a literal paper trail of memos, texts and other documentation of what was happening. We have history books and autobiographies that were published before the January 6 Committee report, books written by those who were there or by historians and journalists who interviewed said witnesses. Such books published in 2021 alone include Johnathon Karl’s Betrayal: The Final Act Of The Trump Show, Woodward and Costa’s Peril: Trump, Biden and a Nation on the Brink, and Leonnig and Rucker’s I Alone Can Fix It: Donald J. Trump’s Catastrophic Final Year. All of them independently collaborate exactly what the Committee uncovered.

And no J6 files were deleted. As stated above, all the Committee’s supporting evidence is currently still available for download. Unlike Donald Trump, the January 6 Committee their brought receipts.

And Trump is certainly the one to talk about witness tampering. As PBS News reported: “Ivanka Trump’s cooperation stands in contrast with some of her father’s other top advisers, several of whom have refused to cooperate as the former president has fought the probe. Trump has tried to exert executive privilege over documents and interviews, but in many cases has been overruled by courts or Biden, who has that authority as the sitting president.

LAWFARE AGAINST TRUMP

Weaponized Prosecutions Target President Trump

Biden prosecutors bring multiple indictments against President Trump over his legal election challenges, including January 6-related federal charges. FBI agents conduct an unprecedented raid on his Mar-a-Lago home, including searching through First Lady Melania Trump’s private wardrobe and personal belongings. They target his loyal lawyers, aides, and associates with baseless charges, threatening decades-long prison sentences to pressure them into flipping with false testimony against him.

Again, play stupid games, win stupid prizes. These were not baseless charges laid against Trump and his attorneys. These were charges related to interferring with a free and fair election that Trump knew he lost. Most notably the Fake Electors scheme. And again, many of those co-conspirators in these schemed pleaded guilty as charged.

Furthermore, the FBI raid on Mar-a-Lago had nothing to do with January 6. It was to recover boxes and boxes and boxes of classifiied documents that Trump stole from the White House. He initially denied pocession of said documents, and then actively refused to return after repeated requests for their return. His own non-compliance is what led to the raid, so again he has only himself to blame for the raid. Some of these documents concerned US military secrets, which he frivelously showed to Mar-a-Lago guests, who were without the proper security clearance to be privy to such material, as if they were trading cards. And he knew that these documents were classified. As he is heard saying on the recording, “As President I could have declassified it, now I can’t.”

GOVERNMENT INVOLVEMENT

FBI Entrapment Operation Exposed

Subsequent investigations, congressional testimony, DOJ admissions, and whistleblowers confirm the FBI had at least 26 (and likely dozens more) confidential informants and assets embedded in the January 6 crowd. Figures like Ray Epps, who was caught on video repeatedly urging people to go “into the Capitol,” were charged only minimally. Democrats successfully flipped the narrative to brand peaceful protesters as “insurrectionists”—while waging the true insurrection against a legitimate election.

This claim that the January 6 insurrection was a false flag attack committed by the FBI is so retarded, I genuinely cannot believe could fall for it.

Firstly, if Trump is going to claim “Government involvement” on January 6, should we interpret this as an admission of guilt? After all, the Government on January 6 2021 was the TRUMP Government.

Second, the FBI answer to the Attorney General who in turn answers to the President of the United States. Donald Trump was the President of the United States on January 6 2021, and therefore the ONLY one who could have ordered a false flag attack by the FBI. So again, if Trump is going to claim the FBI were responsible, shall we interpret this as an admission of his own guilt given that only he could have orchatrated such an FBI attack?

Ray Epps was not an undercover FBI agent. He was a former Trump supporter who bought the lies of a stolen election. As a minor offender, he was charged with only a misdemeaner and avoided jail time. He no longer believes the election was stolen and is repentant for what happened “I have learned that truth is not always found in the places that I used to trust.Epps sued Fox News for defamation after Tucker Carlson aired a twenty-episode propaganda piece falsely alleging that he was an undercover FBI agent, which in turn was echoed and amplified by other far-right media outlets and caused Epps and his wife to receive death threats.

As for the 26 FBI informats and assets, again Trump’s propagandists have completely distorted the facts. This time it is findings of a watchdog report released in December 2024. And the Trump propagandists’ warped interpretation of those findings was previously debunked by Associated Press.

The report found that no undercover FBI employees were at the riot on Jan. 6 and that none of the bureau’s informants were authorized to participate. Informants, also known as confidential human sources, work with the FBI to provide information, but are not on the bureau’s payroll. Undercover agents are employed by the FBI.

According to the report, 26 informants were in Washington on Jan. 6 in connection with the day’s events. FBI field offices only informed the Washington Field Office or FBI headquarters of five informants that were to be in the field on Jan. 6. Of the total 26 informants, four entered the Capitol during the riot and an additional 13 entered a restricted area around the Capitol. But none were authorized to do so by the FBI, nor were they given permission to break other laws or encourage others to do the same. The remaining nine informants did not engage in any illegal activities.”

The mission of these confidential human sources (CHSc) was not to incite violence, but to spy on criminals suspected of attending the January 6 rally with the intention of committing violent acts. The watchdog report directly contradicts the narrative Trump and his cronies are trying to push. Anybody pushing this lie either clearly didn’t read the watchdog report or failed spectacularly to extract its salient points.

TRIUMPH OVER TYRANNY

Lawfare Fails; President Trump Prevails

Despite relentless Deep State efforts to imprison, bankrupt, and assassinate him—all designed to sabotage his political comeback through fabricated indictments, invasive raids, and rigged show trials—President Trump emerges triumphant. Fueled by unbreakable resolve, the fierce loyalty of his courageous family, team, and Patriotic Americans, and God’s unmistakable grace, he delivers a landslide 2024 victory and reclaims the White House in the greatest comeback in American History.

There is no Deep State, and the only reason Trump is not in prison is because he had stacked the Supreme Court of the United States with loyalists during his first term. It was these loyalists in the SCOTUS who granted him Presidential immunity for criminal cases and unconstitutionally overruled decisions to keep Trump’s name off the ballots despite the fact that his engagement in the January 6 insurrection disqualifies him from holding office as per the Fourteenth Amendment. Trump’s SCOTUS judges along with his legal team were complicit in stalling the court proceedings long enough to for him to stay in the Presidential race, but not long enough for him to avoid conviction of 34 felonies relating to falsifying business records. As former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen once said, Trump ran for Presidency to stay out of prison

The Democrats are equally at fault for Trump’s return to power. Joe Biden and Kamala Harris lost a substantial number of potential voters from their role esculating Israel’s genocide of Palestine under the false pretext of “Israel defending themselves” in the wake of the October 7th 2023 attacks. He was nicknamed Genocide Joe for a reason. And on January 6th 2025, not one House or Senate Democrat jointly raised an objection to the counting of Trump’s votes on the grounds that he violated the Fourteenth Amendment. By any stretch, every last Trump vote should have been objected to. It probably still would have resulted in a Republican Presidency. Most likely, either J.D. Vance or Mike Johnson most likely would have become President after Trump was disqualified. But if they it became clear they were using their ill-gotten power to do the bidding of a disqualified candidate, it would have potentially opened the doors to their impeachment.

As for the assassination attempts on Trump: the first attempted assassin, Thomas Crooks, was a registered Republican; and the second, Ryan Routh, supported neither the Democrats nor the Republicans and considers himself an independent. Hardly a Deep State plot.

There is no evidence the trials against Trump were rigged or the indictments were fabricated. Again, Trump has a history of crying perpetual victimhood and falsely claiming everything is “rigged” against him when things don’t go his way.

And the 2024 election was not a landslide victory. It was 312 electoral votes for Trump and 226 for Harris. Trump barely performed better than he did in either the 2016 election (304 electoral votes to Hillary Clinton’s 227). By comparison, the most recent actual landslide victory belongs to George H.W. Bush in the 1988 election: 426 electoral votes for Bush, versus 111 for Dukakis. And even that was considered a modest landslide win. The single largest landslide victory belongs to Franklin D. Roosevelt who in the 1936 election defeated Alf Landon with a whopping 532 to 8. Trump never won an election in a landslide.

The rest of the webpage is not even worth commenting on, as it essentially repeats everything debunked above. It concludes with self-contradulatory remarks for pardoning the January 6 terrorists, which Trump again falsely tries to paint as peaceful protestors. And then it glorifies and enshrines a dubious Interim Report by Barry Loudermilk, which again pushes many of the same false narratives and demonstrably incorrect talking points the rest of the webpage already pushed.

I shall conclude this rebuttal with a statement by Jamie Raskin, one of the January 6 Committee investigators, released in response to Loudermilk’s “report”:

Donald Trump tried to overthrow the 2020 presidential election, which he lost by more than seven million votes and 306-232 in the Electoral College to President Joe Biden. As part of his effort to seize the presidency, he incited a violent insurrection which wounded nearly 150 police officers, many of whom are being treated to this day for physical and mental injuries, and many of whom were forced to leave their jobs because of full or partial disabilities incurred in the attacks. While the violent insurrection unfolded, Donald Trump—who told his followers at the Ellipse that they needed to ‘fight like hell’ or else they wouldn’t ‘have a country anymore,’ and ‘when you catch somebody in a fraud, you’re allowed to go by very different rules’—watched the bloody combat unfold on TV from the safety of his Oval Office dining room and never called the National Guard, the Secretary of the Army, the Chief of the D.C. Police or any other police or military leader to mobilize an effective response to the mob he unleashed against Congress and his own vice president.

Representative Loudermilk and Trump’s other loyal foot soldiers in Congress willfully ignore the findings of the bipartisan January 6 Select Committee report—for example, Loudermilk attempts to revive a long-debunked conspiracy theory that Trump pressed for a National Guard presence ahead of January 6, ignoring the sworn testimony of Acting Secretary of Defense Christopher Miller stating that there was ‘no order’ from Trump to put 10,000 troops on the ready. If Trump dropped a passing mention of that number in conversation, thinking that it would somehow immunize him from the consequences of his treachery and disloyalty to the Republic, he is badly mistaken. If he casually remarked to an underling or anyone else about the forces that would be needed to stop his own attack on our government, this only deepens his culpability and consciousness of guilt—it does not erase it.

As for other specious claims that the January 6 Select Committee suppressed evidence, as this publicly available letter explains, the Committee was obligated to return certain Secret Service transcripts to DHS for a review so DHS could redact sensitive security information and ensure Privacy Act compliance. This was an express condition the Committee was required to accept to obtain the testimony of these individuals, as Secret Service attorneys present in interviews repeatedly stressed. In the letter, the Committee specifically recommended DHS to provide the transcripts to the National Archives, where they would be included in the historical record of the investigation and be publicly available.

Donald Trump did nothing to stop the violence he unleashed against us simply because he wanted it to proceed. Even then-Speaker Kevin McCarthy knew that; in the midst of the violent attack, he called Trump from his office begging him to call off the mob and Trump simply said, ‘Well, Kevin, I guess these people are more upset about the election than you are.’

No amount of Orwellian whitewashing or revisionism can hide the truth from the American people: the events culminating in the January 6 insurrection were an effort by Trump to overturn the 2020 election and seize the presidency. They were an open threat to American constitutional democracy and an affront to the rule of law. Donald Trump incited the insurrection and did nothing to come to the aid of the Congress or the Vice President until it was already clear his bloody insurrection would fail.
